Handicraft items, textile products, spices and traditional delicacies were displayed and marketed in various products prepared by the women members of women's self-help group of Rajivika in all the districts of Rajasthan in the Deepawali Rural Haat fair. State Mission Director of Rajasthan Rural Livelihood Development Council Smt. Shuchi Tyagi was addressing women self-help groups from districts on the concluding occasion of the 6-day Diwali Gramin Haat Mela at Indira Gandhi Panchayati Raj Sansthan on Monday.

He said that on this occasion of Diwali, in the form of Haat Mela, a good opportunity and suitable platform was provided to the women to achieve their economic goals during the Corona period, which provided a market for the sale of their products made by them. Due to which their confidence increased and everyone has to appreciate this initiative of Rajivika. He said that a similar fair was organized last year, in expectation of which the production has improved this time.

State Project Manager Mr. Somdutt Dixit said that in this fair, 33 stalls of 33 districts have been set up, sales of about 30 to 32 lakh rupees have been made on these stalls. He said that other attractions include Missi flour, spices, gram flour, appliqué work of Barmer, carpets of Dholpur, handicrafts products of Ganganagar, in which auspicious signs and symbols are used in auspicious works and in festivals. , Variety of Terracotta designs from Alwar, Molela Pottery and Meenakari Jewelery from Rajsamand, Variety of dishes including Tilakutta Bhandar of Rajsamand, Live Food Stall of Kotputli Jaipur which served various types of Laddu including Moong, Besan, Fenugreek by the ladies of the group. Gum and flour laddus were mainly the center of attraction, about 170 kg of laddus were also sold in this fair.

According to the sales in the fair, District Project Management Unit Jaipur got first place, Rajsamand in second place, Barmer district in third place and the operator of Aarti Self Help Group got fourth place in food stall and first Alwar, second Jalore district for consolation prize. got it.

On this occasion, State Mission Director Smt. Shuchi Tyagi honored the Nodal Officers of the districts who secured first, second and third positions by giving memento and citation.
