Union Forest and Environment Minister shares special tips for success
*Instructions to develop a three-pronged strategy for marketing products
The world, and families, cannot function without women. Therefore, women are actively participating in the successful management of both their homes and the world. If both society and the government join forces with women in this direction, things will progress much faster. The government is educating women on how women's empowerment can strengthen society.
With this spirit and purpose, Rajivika sisters from Alwar met with Union Forest and Environment Minister Shri Bhupendra Yadav at his residence in New Delhi on Saturday. This meeting was organized at the Union Minister's special invitation, during which he assured them of all possible support to gain recognition for their products nationwide and provide them with a better market. This support is rapidly becoming available.
During this meeting, the Union Minister commended the work of the Rajivika sisters and directed them to develop a three-pronged action plan to ensure clear identification of Rajivika products, streamlined training for value-addition, and improved market and marketing opportunities for the finished products. This action plan will soon yield positive results.
Towards this end, he also provided specific guidance to the V-Shakti Trust to ensure effective training and marketing support. He also assured that various departments will be directed to provide suitable venues for Rajivika sisters to sell their products. This step will soon revolutionize women empowerment.
On this occasion, the Rajivika sisters thanked Union Minister Shri Yadav and explained that they received orders worth approximately ₹15 lakh (approximately ₹1.5 million) through the opportunity to provide food at the Alwar MP Sports Festival and the Rajivika-V-Shakti Fair, and their products were sold for lakhs of rupees at the fair. This has significantly impacted the groups' economic empowerment. This success will have a profound impact on society as a whole.
During their meeting, the Rajivika sisters presented Mr. Yadav with their handmade "millet laddus" and "Rajivika sisters' letter," which the Minister enthusiastically accepted. It's worth noting that these millet laddus are highly valued for their taste and prestige.
This meeting opened up new possibilities and new dimensions of empowerment for the Rajivika sisters. It would be great if these schemes reached every corner of the country. No woman, no home remained economically weak. May every home be blessed with prosperity and the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi.
